Vader
Our Story

"He was abused; I was broken..." When Jerry first met Vader, he didn’t want another dog - he was grieving the loss of his previous best friend, Brinks - an American pitbull that quickly captured the family's hearts. Carrying the weight of brain surgery, PTSD, alcoholism, and losing not only the pet he loved, but also people who he had lost over the course of a few, short years... This neglected Doberman with scars on his legs and sorrow in his eyes saw something in Jerry, and Jerry saw something in him. This is the rescue story that changed both of their lives forever. Watch the video and follow their story of destiny that brought them together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we love meeting our fans! However, please note that we do not have a public meet-and-greet schedule. If you see us at an event, public appearance, or just walking down the street, feel free to say hello and ask for a photo. All that we ask is that you remember Vader is a dog and needs to be approached with care and respect - please ask for permission before petting him, and never try to feed him without our consent.

Jerry and Steph met at a venue Jerry was performing at called Cheers in Jacksonville, FL on a Tuesday night. They got married on March 12, 2013.

Jerry's favorite is lasagna, Steph's favorite is tacos, and Vader's favorite is whatever we give him. (He really loves his milkbone treatos, though).

Our "home base" is Middleburg, FL which is near Jacksonville.

Yes! They love treats and toys. If you would like to send them something, please use our Amazon Wishlist. We may even feature unboxing your gift in a future video! (To our international fans, if you would like to send them something, please send it to the address in the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page.)

No, Vader's previous owner had his ears and tail clipped before we rescued him.

There are multiple ways to support Vader and the community - this can be in the form of purchasing superchats during our livestreams, purchasing a YouTube membership, joining our Patreon, or by donating to our Cash App. There are also ways you can support us without it costing you anything - you can join us on our YouTube Community channel, use our Amazon Affiliate Program, and subscribing to us on our other social media platforms Instagram, Facebook, and Discord.

Yes, we try our best to keep all of our content family friendly. However, we may occasionally slip a bad word in a livestream. In the rare instances it does happen, it's purely by accident.

I would love for you to share it with everyone in the Vaderverse. Please post it on the Community page on Vader's Youtube channel or Discord page.

Calzone and Gigolo do travel with us, however, Squeaky does not. Squeaky has always been an outdoor cat that just appeared one day in our backyard. It would be unfair for us to force her to travel with us, so we leave her at home. She is well taken care of by our neighbors and friends while we are on the road.

Yes, you can always find all things Vader here at his official website or, if you're looking for an easy list of links, you can visit his Linktree.

That was Boogie. Unfortunately, Boogie passed away in June 2026. He lived a very long and spoiled life. We miss him dearly, but he will always be in our hearts.
